Grey Seals, Kelsey Head, Cornwall, June 2017.

Kelsey Head is a favourite haul-out, but unfortunately rather subject to disturbance. The seal lifting its head is not particularly well drawn, but I like the sense of narrative: there's no feeling of threat, but something has caused it to look up. In a moment it is going to slump back down and doze off again like its companions. On land, all effort is hard work for grey seals!
